The hipster can be best summed up thus - a guy threatened to sue a magazine for using his image for a story about how all hipsters look the same. He withdrew the claim when they said it wasn't in fact him.

Poor Hipster he's got a long beard, like an old man. He's trendy, subversive and weird, he lives in Portland (Portland, Oregon). He's got tattoos all over his arms and legs. Meaningless symbols like crucifixes and eggs. Poor Hipster he don't give a fuck, his baseball cap on. It has the name of an American truck or some other crap on. His jeans don't fit and he wears brown shoes. Ear-tunnels and even more fuckin' tattoos. Poor Hipster his breakfast is hot, served on a shovel. Fish chips and peas in individual pots, to assemble. He'll wash it down with a gluten-free craft beer. A small-batch whiskey distilled in a dead cat's ear. He don't wanna be a punk, don't wanna be a rasta, don't wanna be a goth, don't wanna be a hippie, don't wanna be a mod, don't wanna be a rocker, don't wanna be a teddy boy, don't wanna be an emo.
